Originally hailing from Somerville, MA, S4M23 is a musician and DJ currently based in New York City by way of Chicago. A lifelong devotee of electronic music, Sam began performing experimental live sets and DJing around New England at age 15, later immersing herself in Chicago and New York’s underground scenes.
Sam’s sound reflects a deeply informed ear and reverence for dancing, pulling from her coming of age experience on the floors at raves and clubs. Her sets lean into mutant sonic collisions, channeling the spirit of midwestern electronics through acid-infused, tracky body music.
